Training Description
This training program covers the four basic functions of the anesthetic machine: delivering oxygen, delivering anesthetic agents, removing carbon dioxide, and removing waste anesthetic gas. It reviews rebreathing and non-rebreathing circuits and pressure testing equipment.
The agenda aims to highlight the importance of understanding the various parts and functions of the anesthetic machine and its care. Each function is discussed in relation to its importance, how it works, and its impact on patients under anesthesia.
Understanding the anesthetic machine’s functions is crucial for ensuring safe and effective surgical procedures. By reviewing oxygen flow, anesthetic vaporization, carbon dioxide removal, and waste gas management, we ensure a safe and calm surgical environment for both patients and staff.
