Who is Team Vetamac?

We are a veterinary anesthesia machine service company, AND we are a family. Vetamac has been in business for over 28 years, and we have forged significant bonds with one another and our clients. We are mothers, daughters, fathers, sons, husbands, wives and friends. We each care deeply about animals and strive to increase patient care by increasing the safety of your anesthetic equipment. We love getting to know you and your clinic family. We love to service, repair, teach and be available for your anesthetic needs. We are your anesthesia machine service family.

Our service technicians have hands on, in-clinic anesthesia training and experience, which sets us apart from the other companies. Vetamac technicians are required to receive rigorous annual continuing education on anesthesia equipment repair. Our technicians also receive field training throughout the year.

  • Veterinary Technician (LVT), (CVT), (RVT)
  • Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET)
  • Veterinary Technician Specialists in Anesthesia and Analgesia (VTS A&A)

Vetamac is a leader in the veterinary industry for servicing anesthesia machines. We perform all anesthesia equipment maintenance in your clinic.

Vetamac recommends annual on-site anesthesia machine service meeting the AAHA, IACUC and AALAS standards. Vetamac provides Anesthetic Machine Periodic Preventative Maintenance when we visit a clinic.

Vetamac verifies and tests the following components on the machine: high and low pressure circuits, flowmeter and oxygen flush valve, rebreathing circuit and accessories, non-rebreathing circuit and accessories, gas evacuation system, breathing circuit and one-way valves. We also verify the vaporizer output through the full range of settings and perform a pressure test on both the vaporizer and machine to test for leaks. We carry a large supply of replacement parts for almost all makes of machines. Vetamac also services and repairs ventilators.

Vetamac is a leader in the manufacture of veterinary anesthesia equipment. We manufacture a complete line of veterinary anesthesia machines in the USA. Our trained technicians install and provide a demonstration to your team on the use of the equipment.

Additional Vetamac services include in-clinic educational seminars on the use of anesthetic equipment. We also provide medical gas plumbing hardware, and waste gas evacuation systems.
